The chicken manure pellet machine is a device specifically designed to process the fermented and decomposed chicken manure into granular organic fertilizer. Its main principle is to take the loose and difficult-to-use chicken manure and, through physical compression, turn it into pellets that are easy to store, transport, and apply.
Different types of chicken manure pellet machines have slightly different working principles. RICHI mainly produces ring die pressing pellet machine, which use a strong compression method. It can effectively deal with the characteristics of chicken manure being long in fibers and having poor viscosity, producing pellets with high density, good formation rate, and less tendency to clog.
Components of Chicken Manure Pellet Machine
One tree does not make a forest, and a single thread does not make a string. For a pelletizer that processes chicken manure to produce high-quality organic fertilizer pellets, the various components need to work together. What are the main components of this system?
Variable Frequency Feeder
After fermentation and grinding, the chicken manure will be fed into the granulator here. As the entry point of the chicken manure pellet machine, it is necessary to ensure that the feeding is smooth enough. Therefore, we have designed a disking device at the feeding port. It can use the reverse rotation of two rollers to thoroughly disperse the chicken manure raw materials. We have also designed an observation hole on the side of the chicken manure machine. Operators can observe the feeding situation and adjust the variable-frequency device at any time to regulate the feeding rate.
Granulation Chamber
The core part of the chicken manure chicken manure pellet machine is the granulation chamber, where the chicken manure pellets are formed. There are three key components in the granulation chamber: the pressing rollers, the ring mold, and the cutter. They need to work together properly to produce qualified pellets, and none of them can be missing.
The pressing rollers are specially designed for this type of raw material, with teeth patterns on the surface, which can firmly grip the chicken manure raw materials. Under the strong squeezing of the pressing rollers, the chicken manure is continuously pressed into the ring mold. The ring mold has many uniformly sized small holes, and after being squeezed, the materials will be squeezed out from these small holes, forming long strips. Finally, the cutter cuts these long strips into uniform lengths, completing the entire granulation process.
Drive and Transmission System
Just as a person needs a strong body to perform high-intensity exercise, the chicken manure pellet machine also needs reliable power support when operating under high load. This power comes from its drive and transmission system. The core is a high-power motor. We selected motors of the Siemens brand, with power ranging from 22KW to 250KW, providing sufficient power.
After the motor starts, how is the power transmitted to the granulation chamber? The answer is gear transmission. The gears we use have undergone precise gear grinding treatment, so the loss during the transmission process will be very small. The gearbox is connected to the motor through a coupling, and both rotate synchronously. This way, when the machine starts granulation, the impact force can be buffered, making the equipment start more smoothly.

The frame of this chicken manure pellet machine is thickened, with good rigidity. It runs with little vibration, and the key components such as the ring die and the press roller can work stably. In case of blockage or overload, the overload protection device will automatically start: the safety pin is disconnected, the limit switch triggers to stop the machine, so that the ring die, the press roller, and the gearbox will not be damaged. In addition, the machine itself has a forced lubrication and cooling system, and it is not easy to suddenly stop during normal operation.

The raw material fibers of EFB are relatively coarse. After a series of granulation processes, many components will be involved, and over time, the core granulation components will inevitably suffer wear. To minimize wear and extend the equipment’s service life, the ring die we use is forged from 42CrMo alloy steel and has undergone carburizing hardening treatment on the surface, with a hardness of HRC 58–62. Its wear resistance is much higher than that of ordinary stainless steel, perfectly matching the coarse fiber raw materials.
Safe and Durable
Whether it is combined with straw, rice husk, or soybean meal and other raw materials, the intelligent chicken manure pellet machine can handle them easily. As long as the moisture content of the raw materials is controlled within a certain range, there will be no problem. If you want to change the pellet diameter, simply replace the ring die with different hole diameters, and the compactness of the pellets can be adjusted by changing the compression ratio, with the compression ratio range being 1:10 – 1:18.
Flexible Adaptation
The fibers of chicken manure are relatively long, and the mixed raw materials in the early stage are also relatively coarse and hard, which is easy to wear out the equipment. To address this situation, we use ring dies forged from 42CrMo alloy steel, which have undergone carburizing hardening treatment on the surface. The hardness of the ring die can reach HRC58–62, which is much more wear-resistant than ordinary stainless steel. Even if it operates under high load for a long time, the key components are not prone to damage, and the overall lifespan of the equipment is very long.

Can fresh chicken manure be directly put into the chicken manure pellet machineto be made into pellets?

No, that’s not possible. The fresh chicken manure has too much moisture and contains a lot of impurities, as well as a large amount of easily decomposable organic matter and pathogenic bacteria. Direct pelletization would easily lead to mold growth and clog the equipment, preventing the formation of pellets. Therefore, it is necessary to first undergo fermentation and decomposition to control the moisture content of the chicken manure within a certain range.
Can only buying one pelletizer produce the product? Or is it necessary to have a complete production line?
