Variable-Frequency Impeller Feeder

This is where the real action happens. There’s a screen on the outside, held firmly in place by a clamping system. Material gets crushed down to size inside the chamber, then passes through the screen and drops down below. On larger models, we actually split the chamber into sections, and the screen is segmented too. So if one section gets damaged, you only replace that piece—not the whole screen.
Double-Sided Hammers
Hammer blades are the main wear parts that directly contact the material. They have to strike the material at high speed all the time, so they wear down pretty fast. Our blades are made of high‑carbon steel, and we weld tungsten carbide onto the hammerhead to make them more wear‑resistant. One standout feature is that our blades are designed to be double‑sided – you can flip them and use both sides. If you alternate sides regularly, the wear stays more even. That means you replace them less often, and it cuts down your maintenance costs.

Can I use the same hammer mill machine for feed ingredients and wood chips?

Yes and no. The main machine body is the same, but you’ll need a few small changes. For wood chips, you’ll want a thicker screen—otherwise the hard chips will break it. Also, the motor power is usually a bit lower for wood chips, and you don’t need the variable-frequency feeder. For feed ingredients, just use a standard-thickness screen and run it with the variable-frequency feeder. Simple.
Is a thicker screen always better?

Not really. As long as the screen is strong enough not to break, a thinner screen actually lets material pass through faster—so you get higher output. We use thicker screens for wood chips because they’re hard and hit hard. Feed ingredients are much softer, so you don’t need that extra thickness. Different jobs, different screens.
Any tricks to make the hammers last longer?

Yep. Since they’re double-sided, just flip them regularly. That way the wear stays even, and you won’t end up throwing them away early because one side got trashed while the other was still good.
Will the machine overheat if we run it non-stop for a long time?

We designed it for long, continuous runs. The rotor is well-balanced, the bearings are properly sized, and there’s an air circulation system. Under normal conditions, it won’t overheat. Just keep up with basic lubrication and cleaning, and you’ll be fine.
Can I grind wet raw materials?

We wouldn’t recommend it. If the moisture content is too high, the material will stick to the screen and clog it up. That means slow discharge and a big drop in output. Best to keep things dry.
