Forage Rotary Drum Dryer for Sale in Uzbekistan

The client runs a small to medium‑sized livestock farm in Uzbekistan. They need feed for cattle, sheep, and other animals. Their raw materials include a lot of forage, which has high moisture content. Their main need was to dry these materials effectively.

The RICHI rotary drum dryer uses a high‑efficiency heat exchange design. It gives you precise control over the drying process. It brought the moisture content of the raw materials down from 25‑30% to about 10%, which effectively prevented mold growth.

EFB Rotary Drum Dryer in Malaysia

The region is rich in palm fruit, so there’s plenty of EFB (empty fruit bunch) material available. EFB has high moisture content and loose fibers, which makes it tricky to dry. RICHI recommended a rotary drum dryer with an extended drum body and a multi‑stage lifting structure. This setup breaks up the EFB thoroughly and ensures even drying throughout.

The client installed the dryer in a 1.5‑2 T/H EFB pellet line. The final pellets burn very well.

Wood Chips Rotary Drum Dryer for Sale in Romania

The client runs a wood pellet manufacturing business. They bought a complete 2 T/H wood pellet line from RICHI, including a rotary drum dryer for drying the wood chips.

We optimized the dryer’s lifting structure and added anti‑scattering features to reduce material loss. The dryer also adjusts its operation automatically based on the moisture content of the wood chips. It delivers high thermal efficiency while keeping energy consumption low – which fits well with European energy standards.

Biomass Rotary Drum Dryer for Sale in South African

The client bought this rotary drum dryer for use in a multi‑feedstock biomass line. They planned to process agricultural and forestry waste – like straw, sawdust, and branches – into biomass pellets for industrial boilers.

Because they work with many different raw materials, the dryer needed to be highly adaptable. The RICHI rotary drum dryer handled the job with ease. It’s also simple to operate and low‑cost to maintain, which the client really appreciated.

Rotating drum dryer:

Best for high-moisture materials: biomass (wood chips, straw, leaves, bagasse, coffee grounds), organic fertilizer (chicken manure, cow manure, poultry litter), ore and slag (quartz sand, slag, mineral powder), plus pellets like distiller’s grains, soybean residue, feed, etc.

How it works: the drum rotates, lifting plates toss the material, and it exchanges heat fully with hot air. Drum dryers handle high heat well, process large volumes, and have low operating costs. They’re used a lot in feed, mining, and building materials.

Mesh belt dryer:

Smaller capacity than a drum dryer. Better for loose, fragile materials: forages and feeds (hay, hay powder, hay cubes, flake feed), dried fruits and veggies (potato slices, carrots, dehydrated vegetables), Chinese herbs (honeysuckle, goji berries, astragalus), and anything that can’t take high heat or breaks easily.

There’s no fixed price—it depends on the model, configuration, heat source, dust removal setup, etc. RICHI drum dryers range from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of US dollars. The differences come down to drum size, material thickness, heat source type, automation level, and things like shipping and installation. If you’re looking to buy, just tell us what you need. We’ll give you an accurate quote based on your actual requirements—no hidden fees.
