Chipping Chamber

What’s the difference between a drum chipper and a disc chipper?

A drum chipper cuts straight—it uses a rotating knife drum. A disc chipper cuts at an angle—it uses a rotating knife disc.
On feeding: drum chippers have hydraulic forced feeding, and the upper feed roller can float up and down. That makes them great for whole bundles or irregular material.
