Pallet Crushing Machine

Product Introduction
What is Pallet Crushing Machine
RICHI pallet crushing machine is designed specifically for wide, flat raw materials. It’s got a broad, flat feed opening—so it’s perfect for stuff like nail-embedded boards and furniture timber.
The whole pallet crushing machine includes a feed inlet, hydraulic system, cutting mechanism, and a discharge belt conveyor. It chops materials into uniform chips—usually around 2 to 4 cm. Discharge is smooth, operation is steady. It gives solid coarse-crushing support for downstream industries like timber recycling, biomass processing, and board reuse. In short, it’s an ideal machine for waste wood recovery and recycling.

Pallet Crushing Machine Customer Cases
RICHI pallet crushing machines are known for their efficient crushing and basic impurity removal. They’re now widely used in many countries and regions. These machines are built to handle waste wood with embedded metal, and they fit seamlessly into biomass pellet production lines.

Advantages of Pallet Crushing Machine
You probably care most about what real benefits you’ll get after buying it. We’ve taken market research and customer feedback to keep improving this auxiliary equipment—and it’ll help you out in a bunch of ways.
The hammerheads are quenched, so they’re super hard and wear-resistant. That means less wear when you’re processing nail-embedded wood. Plus, the pallet crushing machine has a heavy-duty, thickened housing that’s been annealed—so it won’t warp easily even after years of use. Way more durable than regular models. You won’t need to replace it anytime soon.
Tough and Wear-Resistant – Lasts Way Longer
The sealed bearing design keeps dust and moisture out—so no wear or rust from those troublemakers. Add in the stable heavy-duty housing, and you get low failure rates and long-term reliable operation. Day-to-day, just basic lubrication and cleaning. That’s it.
Stable Operation, Low Maintenance
A lot of traditional crushers have narrow feed openings. So when you’ve got wide wood, you have to cut it down first—a real time-waster. RICHI’s pallet crushing machine? Wider opening. You can feed big flat pieces directly—no pre-cutting, no splitting. Just load and go. Compared to traditional machines, you save a ton of labor and processing time.
Saves Labor and Time
Lots of machines can’t handle wood with nails. Pulling them by hand? Expensive and slow. This wood pallet crusher? The hammerheads just smash through nail-embedded material—and the nails get discharged right along with the wood, no damage to the core components. So you don’t need extra nail-removal gear or labor. Your wood processing speed basically doubles.
Better Processing Efficiency
The conveyor at the feed inlet is a widened chain-plate type. It handles heavier loads and has more grip—so you can feed large amounts at once, keeping things steady from the start. In the same amount of time, its crushing output is way higher than equipment with regular belt conveyors.

FAQ
Here are some common questions about pallet crushing machines. We’ve put them together hoping they’ll help.
What’s the difference between a pallet crusher and a drum wood chipper?
→
They work in a similar way, but the main difference is in some key design details.
Feed inlet:
A pallet crusher’s inlet is flatter and wider—better for flat, wide stuff like furniture timber or broad planks. It uses a chain-plate conveyor that can handle heavy loads and won’t slip, so it’s great for batch feeding. A drum chipper’s inlet is narrower—better for logs and branches. It uses a belt conveyor with limited load capacity.
Cutting system:
The pallet crushing machine has internal hammerheads that can break down big wood—especially wood with nails. Those metal bits don’t hurt the machine. A drum chipper uses cutting blades; it doesn’t have hammerheads, so it can’t handle wood with nails or other metal objects.
What if nails wear down the hammerheads when crushing nail-embedded wood?
→
Don’t worry—that’s normal wear. Our hammerheads are made of high-strength alloy steel and quenched, so they’re much more wear-resistant. They can take the impact from nails and last a lot longer than standard hammerheads. If they do eventually wear out, just contact us to replace them. The maintenance cost isn’t bad.
Can I get wood chips outside the 2–4 cm range?
→
Yes. The pallet crushing machine has a customizable screen inside. Swap in a screen with a different mesh size—based on what you need—and you can adjust the chip size. 2–4 cm is just our standard. We can tailor the size for other downstream uses like biomass pellets, wood recycling, incineration, etc.
Besides replacing hammerheads and lubricating bearings, what else does routine maintenance involve?
→
You’ll need to regularly clean out leftover wood and debris from the housing—so buildup doesn’t block the discharge. Also check the chain plates at the feed inlet for wear. If they’re badly worn, replace them in time.
How do shipping, transport, and installation work after I buy the equipment?
→
Our process is clear and standard. Once the contract is signed, we start production as agreed, then arrange logistics to ship the machine to your specified location. After it arrives, we can provide installation guidance and commissioning services to make sure everything runs as it should.
What after-sales services do you offer?
→
We support a full-process service system. That means initial consulting on model selection, mid-stage testing at our factory with your own raw materials, and then later-stage installation, commissioning, technical support, and spare parts supply. Need replacement parts? Just give us a shout, and we’ll arrange shipment as quickly as we can.
